Paper on the Bending Failure Mechanism of Full-Culm Bamboo Now Published! 丸竹稈の曲げ破壊メカニズムに関する論文が公開されました!

A paper investigating the bending failure mechanism of full-culm bamboo has been published. The study theoretically demonstrates that the bending strength of bamboo culms is governed by failure in the transverse direction of the culm wall fibers.
