Conducted a Reed Harvest and Reed-Bed Survey! ヨシ刈とヨシ原の調査を実施しました！

We carried out a reed harvest in the reed beds around Lake Nishi-no-ko in Omihachiman City, Shiga. This annual activity, held every year since 2023, aims to assess resource levels—specifically the aboveground biomass of reed stands. Blessed with clear skies and warm sunshine, we worked diligently with our students on the harvest and measurements.

滋賀県近江八幡市の西の湖の周囲のヨシ原にて，ヨシ刈を実施しました。この行事は2023年より毎年行っている作業で，ヨシ原の資源量（ヨシの地上部現存量）を把握することを目的に行っています。この日は晴天に恵まれ，温かい日差しの中，学生達とヨシ刈の作業に勤しみました。
