Bamboo Forest Regeneration Project Wins the SD Review 2014 – SD Prize! 竹林再生の計画がSDレビュー2014 SD賞を受賞しました！

A project themed around the maintenance and regeneration of bamboo forests in Shiga Prefecture received the SD Prize at the SD Review 2014. Building on the techniques we have developed through our research on bamboo structures, the proposal included a “Bamboo House” utilizing naturally growing bamboo as “living columns,” as well as a landscape plan that transforms the entire bamboo grove into a comfortable and inviting space.

滋賀県内の竹林の整備・再生をテーマにした作品がSDレビュー2014・SD賞を受賞しました。自生する竹を「生柱」として用いたバンブーハウスの提案や，竹林全体を居心地のよい空間にするランドスケープ等を含む計画となっています。
