CFRP-Spherical Canopy | 蓼科のあそびば

A spherical dome constructed using 6 mm diameter CFRP rods. The sphere is formed by interweaving the CFRP rods in a regular lattice pattern, upon which CFRP rings of various diameters are arranged to provide structural reinforcement. The dome is suspended from surrounding trees, floating above a wooden playground structure.

直径6mmのCFRPロッドで構成した球形ドーム。CFRPロッドを一定間隔で格子状に編み込み球体を構成し，その上に大小様々な直径のCFRPの円を配置して補強している。ドームは周辺の木々から木造の遊び場の上に吊るされ浮遊している。
