Sustainable Structural Design Based on Plant-Based Materials and Lightweight Structures
Our laboratory conducts research on “Sustainable Structural Design” with a focus on two core concepts: “Plant-Based Materials” and “Lightweight Structures.” Plants serve as models of “Optimal Design,” skillfully utilizing limited resources and energy. By learning from nature and harnessing its potential, we aim to create architectural structures that are not only environmentally responsible but also safe and aesthetically refined.

私達の研究室では「植物素材」と「軽量構造」の2つのコンセプトを軸に,環境負荷を小さく抑え,かつ安全性とデザイン性に優れた「サステナブル構造デザイン」を研究しています。植物は有限の資源とエネルギーを上手に使った「最適デザイン」のお手本です。自然に学び,自然を活かした美しい建築構造を探求します。
